Espoo-based IQM Quantum Computers has announced that it will deliver a 5-qubit quantum computer to Wrocław University of Science and Technology in Poland.
The computer, IQM Spark, is Poland’s first superconducting quantum computer.
The university plans to use the computer in both education and research, and mainly in the field of computer science. Installation will happen during the second quarter of 2025.
IQM opened an office in Warsaw, Poland, last year. The fast-growing company aims to become the leading provider of quantum solutions in the Central and Eastern European market.
Currently, IQM has over 280 employees, and offices in Espoo, Madrid, Munich, Paris, Palo Alto, Singapore, and Warsaw.
