What is Espoo Innovation Deep Dive?

Espoo Innovation Deep Dive is a high-level innovation program that provides professional education and a tailor-made problem-solving project in Espoo, Finland — the leading innovation ecosystem in the Nordics. In 2025, we'll pilot the program with one spring and autumn program.

What do you get? 

1. Update your professional knowledge in the intensive professional training program provided by Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development (Aalto EE).
2. Deep dive into Nordic innovation methods with a concrete topic led by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
3. Get a temporary desk to experience working like locals and learn how to set up a business in Finland.

For whom is Espoo Innovation Deep Dive? 

• Foreign corporations who want concrete innovation activities with local Finnish players.
• For this pilot, we're looking for one customer for each season.

Aalto University's Otaniemi campus in Espoo and Aalto EE building in Helsinki.

Spring and autumn program

Spring program: 

• When: January – June  2025 
• Duration: 2 – 4 weeks
• You get: a hotdesks in Espoo
• Education: Professional tailor-made education program by Aalto EE
• Project: 3–6-day tailor-made  topical program  by VTT 
• Other activities:

Autumn program:

• When: September – December  2025 
• Duration: 2 – 4 weeks
• You get: a hotdesks in Espoo
• Education: Professional tailor-made education program by Aalto EE
• Project: 3–6-day tailor-made  topical program  by VTT 
• Other activities:
