In 2025, Espoo-based startups raised a record-high €580 million in funding. The raised amount over doubled from €253 million in 2024.
In particular, two companies were behind the spectacular growth: IQM Quantum Computers and ICEYE.
IQM announced its Series B round of €275 million in September 2025. In quantum, it is the biggest Series B raise of all time outside of the US.
Besides, satellite and dual-use company ICEYE raised €150 million in its Series E round. In total, ICEYE pocketed €165 million during the year.
Also IXI Eyewear, Steady Energy, and SemiQon completed significant rounds, making it to the top 5.
