InstituteQ is a new conglomerate dedicated to quantum science research in Finland. The institute is a joint venture of Aalto University, the University of Helsinki, and VTT.
The institute aims to combine resources from all three research institutes in research efforts, providing education in quantum sciences and fostering innovation in the quantum industry.
Finland has made considerable strides in developing quantum technologies, and especially quantum computing. For example, Espoo-based startup IQM and VTT are building a 50-qubit quantum computer by 2024 in Espoo.
