The Espoo-based autonomous driving company Sensible 4 has partnered with Panasonic as part of the companies' efforts to develop self-driving technology further.

This partnership will combine Sensible 4’s self-driving software with Panasonic’s Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU). IMU plays a fundamental role in autonomous driving as it merges and synchronises data received from other sensors that assist in successful autonomous driving.

The collaboration effort aims to improve the capabilities of self-driving vehicles under the harsh weather conditions that Finland provides.
