VTT builds a pioneering 6G research environment together with Finnish universities

The Finnish research centre VTT has announced plans to build the world’s first research environment for future wireless technologies, 6G-FUWIRI. The project will be carried out together with Aalto University, University of Oulu, and Tampere University.

The new research environment was granted funding by the Academy of Finland. It continues the cutting-edge 6G research started by the Finnish 6G Flagship programme in 2018.
