Aurora Propulsion Technologies sends tech into space to clear space junk

Share

Aurora Propulsion Technologies, an Espoo-based satellite technology company, will be sending its technology into space for the first time later in 2021.

Aurora's AuroraSat-1 CubeSat will be sent into space onboard the US-based aerospace manufacturer Rocket Lab's Electron rocket rideshare mission.

On the mission, Aurora aims to clear space junk from lower orbit. This will be the first time that the company's tech is used in space.
