Aalto University ranks 8th in arts and design

Aalto University in Espoo has again proven its excellence in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

This year, Aalto ranked 8th in arts and design globally. The school was also in the top 50 in marketing (44th) and architecture and built environment (49th).

QS publishes its internationally recognized university rankings annually. The rankings consider the reputation and research output of over 5,200 schools globally.

In addition to rankings by subject, QS publishes an overall ranking of universities. In the most recent ranking from summer 2024, Aalto ranked first in Finland, and 113th in the world.
