IQM is growing its quantum footprint in APAC region, signs deal with Taiwan-based Scientek Corporation

IQM Quantum Computers is growing its quantum footprint in the APAC region by signing a reseller deal with Scientek Corporation, a Taiwan-based reseller of scientific instruments and high-technology products.

The deal follows the installation of the first full-stack superconducting quantum computer, IQM Spark, at the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute. Scientek will sell and promote IQM's quantum computers and cloud solutions to businesses and research institutions in Taiwan.

In the APAC region, IQM recently sold a quantum computer to Chungbuk National University in South Korea and signed a distribution agreement with the Japanese TOYO Corporation.
