Kvanttinova Ltd. has appointed Jussi Tuovinen as CEO. Kvanttinova is building Finland's leading industry driven microelectronics and quantum technology hub. There will be shared clean facilities built for microelectronics and quantum technology by 2027. However, the community is already active.

Jussi Tuovinen (DSc) has over three decades of experience in building RDI collaborative schemes and deep tech operations. He has been leading many international and national operations and building services in Finland, the USA, France, and Ireland.

Kvanttinova is a joint initiative by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Aalto University, the City of Espoo and the industry members of the semiconductor industry group of Technology Industries of Finland.

Espoo ranks sixth in patent applications in Europe — Patent Index 2023

Espoo is ranked sixth in the Patent Index 2023 published by the European Patent Office. Espoo files the sixth most patents of all cities in Europe. Espoo's innovation players made 60.5% of all patent applications in Finland.
