VTT builds Europe's leading clean energy piloting centre in Espoo

VTT will invest EUR 18 million to build Europe's leading clean energy research and testing environment in Espoo, Finland. The centre will be completed in 2024 and will allow companies to scale solutions to production quickly and cost-effectively.

According to Jussi Manninen, Executive Vice President at VTT, the centre will be unique on a European level as it will bring areas like traffic, houses, energy and industry inside its walls.

The energy piloting centre will be built at VTT Bioruukki.
